ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) A memorial service was held Wednesday at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. to honor the late Nelson Mandela. Dignitaries gathered to pay tribute to South Africa's first black president and anti-apartheid hero. U.S. Vice President Joe Biden spoke at the service telling the crowd Mandela was the most the most impressive man or woman he had ever met in his life. Despite being imprisoned for decades, Biden praised Mandela's forgiving spirit after he was released from prison. "May we always remember the man who did what seemed impossible, for it could be done once, it could be done again, and so many places in the world need the spirit of Nelson Mandela," said Biden.
