Rachel, from TLC Inspirations, brings you "How to Make Bottlecap Magnets with a Vintage Twist!". Bottlecap magnets have become very popular as DIY gifts in the last couple of years, but I wanted to do it with a bit of a twist and somehow incorporate vintage graphics. I love all things vintage, so this was the perfect way to merge the two ideas. Please visit our blog for the step by step tutorial (with photos) on how to make these crafty bottlecap magnets! There is even a downloadable PDF with easy to follow directions. Happy crafting :) *** *** I've gotten lots of questions in regards to the products I used for these vintage bottle cap magnets. As for the vintage graphics and lettering, those came out of vintage magazines from the 1950s and 60s, which were purchased for a few dollars at a local antique shop and I cut them out by hand. For the bottle caps, finish, and glue, I am posting Amazon links to those products (you can always save up bottle caps, if you drink soda).
