Three of the 30 people jailed after a Greenpeace protest on Arctic oil drilling, walked free on bail Thursday. Their story goes back to September 18th, when they were detained by the Russian Coast Guard, after their boat steered toward an oil platform and several activists tried to scale it. Despite 26 of them being granted bail, many in the Western world still consider their sentence too harsh. U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon says he hopes the activists will receive - quote - "favorable and sympathetic" treatment.
