About 4,000 Bulgarian workers rallied on Nov. 20 against low wages and a lack of jobs, in a possible sign that opposition to the Socialist-led cabinet may be spreading beyond daily protests staged mostly by students. The Confederation of Independent Trade Unions of Bulgaria leader Plamen Dimitrov said "We want to see the economy turned to the problems of the workers. If the government does not take note now, our next move will be to go to strike.
