The film, which has been panned by many, especially the most diehard Star Wars fans, managed to bring in $43 million when it was released back in February. Not a bad haul, but a far cry from the $94 million The Lion King 3D made last year or even the $58 million Titanic 3D sailed away with in April. Regardless of the box office, the plan was to release a new 3D version of the series each year around the same time. So here comes the bad news. For those of you desperate to see little Anakin become a whiny emo padawan, you'll have to wait until Episode Two Attack of the Clones hits theaters not in February, but seven months later on September 20th, 2013.So, what's the good news? You may have to wait over a year to see Episode Two in 3D, but Episode Three Revenge of the Sith will open a month later on October 11th, 2013. The other good news is this means we will most likely see Episode IV A New Hope in 3D sometime in 2014 rather than the original plan of 2015. No word yet if we can expect The Empire Strikes Back also in 2014 or if we will have to wait until 2015 for that one.So, are you excited to see Episodes two and three back-to-back in 3D or should they have stuck with the yearly release schedule? Below in the comments you will tell us and be sure to like us over on Facebook for cool stuff you won't find anywhere else. Until next time, I'm Aja Dang, may the force be with you!
