Trailer: In this edition of the Longines Chronoscope, guest George Meany from the American Federation of Labor discusses the current labor movement and its involvement in politics. A rare happening, Meany explains why the AFL has aligned itself with 1952 presidential candidate Adlai Stevenson. Meany feels that the AFL would gain ground in Stevenson’s government and could repeal the Taft-Hartley Law.
