www.euronews.net The Turkish Prime Minister has apologised on behalf of the state for the killings of thousands of Kurds during a military crackdown in the 1930s. In a speech to members of his AK party Recep Tayyip Erdogan described the bloody campaign that left almost 14000 people dead as "among the most tragic events of our near history".
