We were happy to see a response posted by one of the cruise lines cited in yesterday’s post by guest writer Fran Camino, Azamara Or Oceania? Operating Nearly Identical Ships, But With Differences That Sway One Writer.

In a comment posted on Avid Cruiser, Azamara Club Cruises’ Chief Blogging Officer, Bill Leiber, illuminated a number of factors that he feels differentiates Azamara from Oceania Cruises. Camino had cited lower single traveler supplements as one factor that swayed him to choose Azamara over Oceania.

Leiber elaborated the price/value differences between the two cruise lines, citing Azamara’s lower rates and “more all inclusive” cruise tariffs. He went on to add that Azamara has created a new service culture aboard its ships that puts the company in a new category of its own.

Read Leiber’s comments here, and chime in. We welcome spirited debates that help make our readers more informed cruise consumers.
