In the summer of 2007, West Seattle writer Peter Stekel came across airplane wreckage and mummified human remains while hiking in California's High Sierra Mountains. His discovery put him in touch with family members of an aviation cadet killed in a World War II training mission. Peter had found the remains of air cadet Glen Munn whose body had been missing since 1942. The experience taught Peter Stekel about what it means to find closure after loss. Peter Stekel's upcoming book about his experience is called "Final Flight." He spoke with KUOW's Dave Beck.
