not think that God dwells in deprivation for He is God of the world, of abundance and beauty. "Thy kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven." The Master never exhorts us to find God by turning our back on the world, but rather to achieve fulfilment in the world. Our journey may eventually take us to another plane of existence but right now this is where we serve Him.
The idea of Abundance as a quality of God may sit uncomfortably with us, because of the religion of dualism, of "God and..." There is no "God and" but only "God as". "Whither shall I flee from Thy presence?" cries the Psalmist.
So know God in all good things. Accept His abundance - of the spiritual, mental, emotional, physical and material. In your regular meditations visualise this and affirm it. Feel no guilt that you experience abundance for it is the face of God radiant upon His children.
