Jerry Grieser - When God re-created us through the atoning work of Jesus He deposited the forces of life into our spirits - (Gal. 5:22). The life forces of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control now reside within us, in our spirit, which is joined and now one with the Spirit of God. Yet all these life forces will remain locked up until we get our minds to agree with our spirit and "act accordingly". This teaching begins to develop four steps we must take to begin to transfer these life forces from the spiritual dimension into the physical where we might have an experiential encounter with them.
