Ray Martin is a name known to just about every Australian. For many years he was quintessential ABC, starting as a cadet in the 60s and becoming the ABC's North America correspondent for a decade through the late 60s and 70s. He then took a big step, joining Kerry Packer's Nine network as a reporter on 60 Minutes before moving on to host Midday and A Current Affair. Ray has written his autobiography, Ray: Stories of My Life.
