Podictionary weekly is an audio compilation of the five words of the day from the daily version of the podictionary podcast.
This week at podictionary I covered the words yacht, trapeze, placenta, bargain and lampoon.

that’s because I’m giving podictionary a facelift after more than four years of episodes.
I’ve been seeing a growing audience at the website blog and also subscribing by email but as I explained in Monday’s episode, what supports podictionary is listeners, not readers.
Because of this I’m doing two things. I am streamlining the daily podcast so that listeners don’t have to waste 9 seconds of their day listening to the same intro every time. I’m also letting my reading audience know that what is keeping podictionary going are my daily listener numbers so that if they own an iPod I’m hoping they’ll like listening as much or more than they like reading.
Finally I’ve partnered with a company who are working to bring out an iPhone app for podictionary.
I will be continuing to produce podictionary weekly and I hope you continue to enjoy it, but if you’d like to experiment with the less repetitive new version of podictionary daily you’ll be better supporting my listener numbers and I’ll appreciate that.
