Students collaborate over interactive SMART Table
Young students at a Florida elementary school are collaborating more in the classroom by using a SMART Table. The SMART Table is an interactive touch-screen computer that allows up to eight students to work together. Online encyclopedia offers students a forum on sciences
Scitable A division of Nature Publishing Group has launched an online science encyclopedia and learning community called Scitable . Vikram Savkar, publishing director of the Nature Education division, says the project is designed to foster student interest in the sciences. Registered users can explore research and multimedia offerings, while the social-media aspect allows them to communicate with experts or other students. Read more at Forbes
