sub-species of freshwater / river dolphins. The Gangetic Dolphin of the Ganges river system is found in Bangladesh, across India and in Nepal. The Gangetic or Ganges River Dolphin is primarily found in the Ganges and Brahmaputra Rivers and their tributaries in India, Bangladesh and Nepal. However, the Indus River Dolphin is found in the Indus river system of Pakistan along the border with north-west India, and in the Beas and Sutlej river systems of India.
