Learn to recognize these buzzwords and to identify credible claims, so you won't succumb to the seductions of greenwashing!
Words. Marketers use a variety of vague terms to convince you of a product's green cred. Consumer Reports can help sort it out. Logos. Not all "certifications" are credible. You can trust logos from Energy Star, FSC, Rainforest Alliance, Green Seal, BPI and ASTM, to name a few. Experts. A lot of the research has already been done for you!
