Sub Commander Marcos appointed as Delegate Zero to promote the Sixth Declaration of the Selva Lacandona, a document that raises its political proposal at a national level.
The tour was suspended on May 3rd of 2006 due to the repression of the town of Anteco, which is part of this movement, and was resumed later.
At present, the Intercontinental Reunion of the Indian Towns of America in the state of Sonora in the month of October is being prepared. In the time that this movement has lasted, it has been a victim of many of its members being in prison or facing legal problems, Human Rights groups such as Amnesty International and the International Civil Commission of the Human Rights.
The Other Campaign has an organizational proposal at an international level named Zezta Internacional.

La Otra Campaña es una iniciativa politicia que promueve el EZLN para coordinar las luchas populares en todo el país. Esta propuesta organizativa empezó el 1 de enero de 2006 con el recorrido del Sub Comandante Marcos nombrado como el Delegado Zero para promover la Sexta Declaracion de la Selva Lacandona, documento que plantea su propuesta politica a nivel nacional e internacional.
El recorrido fue suspendido el 3 de mayo de 2006 debido a la represion al pueblo de Atenco que es parte de este movimiento y reanudado mas tarde.
Actualmente se prepara la reunion Intercontinental de los Pueblos Indios de America en el estado de Sonora en el mes de octubre, el tiempo que ha durado este movimiento ha sido victima de muchos de sus integrantes esten en prision o enfrenten problemas juridicos, grupos de Derechos Humanos como Aministia Internacional y la Comision Civil Internacional de Observación de los Derechos Humanos.
La Otra Campaña tiene una propuesta organizativa a nivel internacional llamado La Zezta Internacional.
