stately on the occasion of the most intense rains. The cave from which the stream that feeds the fall escapes has the honor to be the n.1 of the inventory caves of the Friuli (Italy)!

E' il punto di maggiore interesse di tutta la val Raccolana, sia per la spettacolare cascata sia per la misteriosa origine dell'acqua che sgorga dalle pieghe dellla montagna. Il fontanone deve la sua notorietà alla cascata che da esso fuoriesce e che diviene maestosa in occasione delle piogge più intense. La grotta dalla quale fuoriesce il torrente che alimenta la cascata ha l'onore di essere la n.1 del catasto grotte del Friuli!
