Britney Spears - Piece Of Me [OFFICIAL PROMO] The music video was filmed on November 27 and November 28, 2007 at an exclusive Hollywood nightclub and restaurant, Social Hollywood.[3] It was directed by Wayne Isham, who had previously worked with Spears in the video "I'm Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman" and in the international Pepsi commercial campaign in 2002.[3] On November 30, 2007, the "Britney Spears Wants a Piece of You" contest was launched in which fans can make videos of "Piece of Me" themselves using MTV's Video Remixer.[1][4] The clips used was the images of Spears over the years including interviews, red-carpet appearances and performances.[1] MTV, Jive Records and Spears chose the winner and the winning video aired on Total Request Live on December 20.[4] Britney Spears dancing in a luxurious restroom for the video. The music video for "Piece of Me" follows a paparazzi theme.[3] The clip begins with a group of paparazzi taking pictures outside a residential area where various blonde girls are changing clothes and playfully dancing. Spears shows in front of a multi-colored illuminated background wearing a brown-fur vest, black bra and destroyed jeans. Scenes with Spears tearing negative tabloid covers down and creating positive ones are interpolated in the video. Spears later joins the other girls who have changed into matching blonde-bob wigs, dark sunglasses, and black trench coats as they enter a car being hounded by paparazzi. The girls make it to the party and exit the car in different clothes. Inside the party, a rogue paparazzi joins the girls in the bathroom but Spears spotted him at the end . The girls are seen back at the apartment watching an entertainment news where the "Britney invasion" from earlier is reported. The final scene shows a close up of Spears's face smirking. The international version includes scenes of Britney with a short blonde wig at the beginning, and different scenes towards the end of the video. The music video for "Piece of Me" has been viewed almost 30 million times on popular video-sharing website YouTube, becoming her most viewed music video on the website, and the 29th most viewed ever. People posted a sneak preview of the video on December 13, 2007.[5] MTV premiered the video on December 14. Britney Jean Spears (born December 2, 1981) is an American singer, dancer, songwriter, actress and author. She has sold over 83 million records worldwide according to Zomba Label Group.[1] The RIAA ranks her as the eighth best-selling female artist in American music history, having sold 32 million albums in the U.S.[2] Her success as a recording artist has allowed her to work in other media; she has acted in film and television, has written two books, and has been contracted to endorse several products, including her own perfume line. Spears released her debut album ...Baby One More Time in 1999, propelling her to international stardom.[3] It spawned the Billboard topping single "...Baby One More Time".[4] She released her second studio album Oops!...
