Once upon a time, I went to New York City, and began pursuing acting. Against my better judgement of commercialization and consumer society, I started booking commercials pretty quickly. I thought after I started booking commercials I'd eventually start booking films and make a career of it. I did book some student films, but never really broke into the major motion picture industry as I hoped... It was pretty exciting working on 35mm film in places like L.A., NYC, Canada and Spain, though!

Quicktime's latest update contains a format you can save to: Movie to Ipod which creates an m4v file. I'm testing to see how this works in various aggreagators and browswers. I suspect it will not work at all if you haven't updated to the lastest version of Quicktime.Ok, so it appears that when you click on this it launches iTunes, which kind of bites. But it will play in the ipod... hmm... Not sure on this... Argh, sorry, many strange things happening here...

An educational video from the days when I taught 5-6th graders geography via live interactive television for the Denver Public Schools in Colorado. Let's all sing together! Yay! I've been going through a lot of old tapes, I have a ton. I'm digitizing them since I now have an easy way. I want to eventually get rid of all the VHS tapes and just have them on DVD where I can easily rip them to MP4 and then take bits and pieces to use for this stuff. I'm also testing a new format, uploading an MPEG-4 instead of quicktime. I think file size is smaller and hopefully it will play well and work for everyone. Let me know...
