Henri van Zanten bewerkte het boek "Reize naar het Aapenland"geschreven door de revolutionair Gerrit Paape tot een bondige satire op wat de schrijver al noemde de schijndemocratie in Holland.Hij zei ook "In Holland veranderen nooit de zaken, alleen de namen". Hij moest het land ontvluchten en nav schreef hij het voornoemde boek. De bewerking werd in het hol van de leeuw gespeeld: Nieuwspoort, als lunchpauze voorstelling. Jan Joris Lamers als kamer voorzitter Nico Okkerse als emotionele vertegenwoordiger van links en Henri van Zanten in de kille rol van rechts. Een coproductie van Maatschappij Discordia en De Gasten Komen, vlak voordat hun subsidiekranen werden dichtgedraaid. Maar dankzij internet, spelen wij door.
