Independent music from Missouri, Italy, Sweden, Illinois, New York, France and London. The frogs are into a bit of a major croak-fest here at the barn, hundreds are rushing headlong to the top pond here at the Barn. Some, like this handsome chap, (right) even think it a good idea to head into the house. Two highly contrasting live music events over the last week. Thursday evening was spent at The Brickmakers in Norwich. A real live music venue with two bars and (at least on Thursday last week) two bands. One free show in the main bar then B2 was the place to catch the Eric and Amy Show. The Cutting Crew are playing there on riday 23rd March. Friday was a Latin evening at Framlingham College here in Suffolk. What a contrast - a school performance and with some astounding talent on display. Outstanding performances by dozens of students. Among the many talents were Laura Wright, already an established singer with All Angels . Ollie Poole's confident virtuosity was breathtaking, switching from instrument to instrument and with a great singing voice. A little more time and some street level experience will make him a name to seriously watch out for.
