[AN: 5 more chapters! oh and I'm announcing that there will be a sequel cuz i just got an amazing idea for it =)] Chapter 46- (Kevin's POV) After Kevin dropped Nick off, he picked up Andie at her house. He smiled when he saw her in a green dress because he loved when she wore green. It made her red hair stand out more. He opened the car door for her and then got in and pulled out of the driveway. Kevin was taking her to a fancy restaurant for a nice, quiet, and romantic dinner. The twist was that they would be alone. Kevin had rented out the entire restaurant for the night just so that he could have some privacy with Andie before he would be leaving in the morning. When they pulled into the parking lot of the restaurant, Andie was confused. There were only a few cars there and it looked like it was pitch black inside. "Uh...hun, I don't think this place is open. There's no one here." "Oh don't worry, it's open." Kevin got out and opened the door for Andie again. He took her hand and led her inside. She was right; it was pitch black in the entire restaurant except for a path lit up by candles. Kevin smiled down at Andie as he followed the path and led her into the dining area. The path got bigger and eventually they lined the wall of a whole room. In the center of the room was one single table set for two with a candle in the middle. Andie kissed Kevin on the cheek. "Kevin this is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen." Kevin smiled and led Andie to the table. He pulled out her chair for her and then waited until she sat down before he sat in the seat opposite her. When they were both seated, a waiter came out of the kitchen and gave them menus to look at. "Kevin, this restaurant is kinda expensive. Are you sure about this?" "Don't even worry about Andie. Tonight is all about you and I want you to order anything you want." After looking over the menu, the waiter came and took their orders. While waiting for their food, Kevin took both of Andie's hands in his and held them across the table. "You look so beautiful, as always." Andie blushed. Kevin always knew what to say at the right moments. Then, Andie remembered something that she wanted to tell Kevin. She wasn't sure how he'd take it and definitely didn't want to tell him. She wanted to delay it as long as possible or just not tell him at all. No, that wasn't an option. She had to tell him because it would have an effect on their relationship. But, she knew if she told him, she would start crying and he might too. After deciding to tell him after dinner so that she wouldn't ruin the night, she looked up at Kevin and knew that he saw that she wanted to say something. "Andie, you look like you want to tell me something." It was too late. She had to tell him. "I do have something to tell you, but I don't know how to say it." Kevin was frowning now. This was bad news. Andie let go of Kevin's hands and started crying. Kevin didn't know what to say: he was expecting the worse. "Kevin, my dad's company offered him a job in another city, so our whole family is moving next month." Kevin's worries were immediately washed away. He thought she was breaking up with him, but moving was no big deal. "Oh, that's it? Well, that won't be such a big deal. So, I have to drive a little further to see you, no problem." This made Andie cry harder. "No, Kevin, it's more than a little further. It's a lot further." Kevin's smile was wiped away. "Like, how far?" "Like North Carolina far." Andie saw Kevin's reaction and put her head in her hands and just cried. She didn't want to see the pain on Kevin's face anymore. Kevin just sat there: he too had tears in his eyes. Finally, he cleared his throat and attempted to talk. "Andie, let's not worry about the future. We're here together now and that's all that matters. Plus, we are playing two shows in North Carolina, so we can see each other then." Andie looked up from her hands. Kevin was right. They only had tonight together, so she shouldn't worry about the future just yet. At that point, their food came. They ate, trying to forget about Andie's news, but they both knew that it could never be forgotten. They're lives were changed forever. When they got into the room, Stephanie sat on her bed and Kim sat in the chair across from the bed. "So do you want to tell me what's up?" Kim was so curious to find out why her friend had called her at eleven at night just to tell her something. Stephanie sighed and laid down on her bed. "Promise you won't tell anyone?" "Steph, why would I have a reason to tell someone you're secrets?" "True. Alright, don't judge me." "Steph, don't judge you? What are you..." "Joe kissed me." Kim stopped what she was about to say and just looked at Stephanie with a smile. "Really now? How was it?" Stephanie looked at her friend in shock. She couldn't believe she was joking around when Stephanie was being completely serious. "Are you serious?! Kim, how can you joke at a time like this?" "I'm just kidding. Geez, learn how to take a joke. Anyways, so he kissed you---what's the big deal? Shit happens." "He kissed me---and I liked it---a lot." Kim smiled again. Even since Stephanie told her about Joe hitting on her that day in the hallway at her mom's work, she hoped Stephanie would take a chance and dump Ryan. But she never got her wish. Stephanie sighed as she laid back down on her bed. "I'm gonna go call my mom to tell her I'm spending the night." Kim called her mom and after she got off the phone, she and Stephanie went downstairs and watched movies. They put in Juno, their favorite movie. They were half way through it when Kim got a text message from Nick. "Did you hear the news?!" Kim laughed to herself and texted him back. She knew he was talking about the kiss between his brother and Stephanie. After they were done watching the movie, they looked at the clock. It was two in the morning, but they both weren't tired. They talked for about an hour. Stephanie was in the middle of saying something when she noticed Kim was asleep. She laughed and then quickly stopped because she thought of what Kim said earlier. Joe was an amazing guy, and their kiss did mean something. Thoughts raced through her brain. Finally she came to the conclusion that she was scared to admit: she was in love with two people. Chapter 11- PART TWO Nick regretted the fact that he let Kim slip away so easily, so he was happy to see another opportunity open up. Nick walked over to the same trees he saw Kim walk towards. He pretended to be looking for his golf ball, but he really was trying to get Kim's attention. She was looking on the ground for another ball, so she didn't even notice anyone was near her until she turned around. "GEEZ! You scared the crap out of me!" "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to." When Kim realized who was standing in front of her she felt her breath stop: Nick Jonas, the guy that was on her mind constantly since dinner a week ago, was smiling back at her. "I didn't know you worked here." "I didn't know that you golfed here." They came closer together, and Nick saw that Kim had something in her hand. "I found this over by that tree, but I'm looking for one my student hit over here." "Student?" "Yah, I give kids golfing lessons every Friday." Nick laughed to himself: he needed to golf there more often. "So, how have you been?" "Um...good. I could be better, but I'm doing ok." "Why are you just ok?" Kim smiled at Nick: she had the biggest crush on him, but she knew he probably didn't feel the same way. He was a famous rock star after all. "Uh...well, I've been thinking a lot about dinner that night that's all." Kim couldn't believe he said that. She had been thinking about the same night: it had been the best night of her life. She blushed, and Nick smiled at her reaction. "Oh have you now? What have you been thinking about?" Nick walked closer to Kim. Each step he took made her heart beat faster. "Well, we had such a good time, and I wanted to ask you out so we could get to know each other better. But, I was nervous, so I never did, and I regret that." At that second Kim stopped breathing all together. She was so startled she couldn't even talk. "Y...Y...You wanted to ask me out?" "Yah. So, when I saw you here, I was happy to get a second chance. To be honest, I purposely hit my golf ball over here because I saw you go the same way." Nick grabbed the ball out of Kim's hand, and Kim started laughing. "So, you are stalking me?" They both started laughing, and when they finally got a hold of themselves, Nick got up the courage to ask what was on his mind. "So, do you want to hang out later?" Nick was relieved he finally asked Kim out, and Kim was shocked that he might have the same feelings for her that she had for him. "Umm...yah that would be great." Nick's cell phone rang, cutting off their conversation: it was Joe on the other end. "Nick, where are you? I look like an idiot golfing by myself." "Oh, sorry. I'll be there in a second." Nick hung up his phone and looked up at Kim. "Well, I'll call you later then to finalize plans?" "Sounds good to me." Kim gave Nick her number while looking for the missing golf ball. When she found it, she said goodbye to Nick, as Nick went back to where Joe was standing. When Nick got back to where Joe was, Joe could see the look on his face. "What is with you today?" "Oh, nothing, I just have a date tonight, that's all." Joe looked at his brother and smiled. He went over and patted him on the back. "Aww...my little Nicky is growing up so fast." "Shut up Joe." Nick and Joe finished the eighteen holes and left the country club. Nick waited anxiously for the time to pass. He grabbed his guitar and wrote a song about what he was feeling that moment. When he was done, he smiled at the finished product. Then, at seven o'clock, Nick called Kim.
