When it comes to Super Internet Guru HEROS of mass marketing, nobody - I MEAN NOBODY CAN ROCK THE WORLD like the Greenhouse Effect...great terrific stripped down 'videos' on Google search engines that have blasted G.e. to the top of the world for well over a year now!! Says Clark Hagins; "It all started in like October,.maybe September 2007,..we built up a slow buzz on google - and then it just EXPLODED...WHITE BLACK THANG became a monster,..i mean you look at our band and we are hillarious looking and acting,..we are so silly and nerdy,..there is nothing controversial about us YET WE ARE COMPLETELY THE MOST CONTROVERSIAL THING THAT EVER EXISTED,...with 'White Black' n all,...i mean, we don't take ourselves all that serious but we have to - at the same time,..i mean ; we practically invented 'Nerdcore" (Laughs)....Greenhouse Effect take great pride in being one of the Internet's hugest things and they have featured an ever changing band line up but with two exceptions; Bassist Rick Carmody and Lead Guitarist Clark Hagins are both 'always in the band' and for the band's entire duration from 1985 til 1992 ! "We were way WAY TOO AHEAD OF OUR TIME" says Hagins "you go to the south bay and people will tell you how i drew pictures as a child of the future ten years from my little picture,..i don't mean to brag,..but i am a genius,..i was born with only half a brain working so my one side of my mind had to store alot of shit,...i had Belles Palsy as a child and half my body didn't work,...i had to pull myself around using all the power of the right side of my brain - thats probobly why i am like this total Republican and i fucking hate liberals (Laughs),....plus,..up until i was like 6,..i mainly only spoke Spanish as my parents were really busy and they left me alot with this family of Hispanics in Lomita who spoke no English (Laughs)....i'm like the best Mexican white dude to pick up rock n roll since Ritchie Valens !!(Laughs)...i mean i am just like a short little Woody allen/ Robin williams dude who is lovable and sweet and that really comes across in all our videos,..i mean Ted just brings us all down - that guy is always a negative vibe (laughs) just kidding !! OUR BAND featured some of the greatest musicians in Los Angeles..we had people come and go and that was unfortunate because i love it when line ups stay together and intact..like the Who pretty much did for a long time,....we had drummer Martin Silva who is one of the best drummers that i have ever heard and we had Guitarist Phil Keegan (Dr. Phil). Keegan is one of the great guitarist there is ever. PERIOD. I MEAN IN THE WORLD !! EVER !!
