"Spooky Southcoast" for October 31, 2009. Our first chance to go on the air on Halloween was supposed to be a night filled with spooky ghost stories, but that plan is quickly thrown out the window when reports of a UFO landing in New Jersey take over the show.

We were supposed to talk with Butch Patrick, best known as TV's Eddie Munster, but it turns out a hurricane in Mexico (where Butch was working) kept us from connecting. However, we still had a great time hanging out with Wayne Morrison of Rock4Xmas (www.rock4xmas.com) and we connected with Matt Moniz and Jeff Belanger at the Mass Monster Mash.

Also, legendary horror director and host of "Nightwatch" Todd Sheets checks in as well. Plus, we get live UFO reports from the listeners--but it turns out it was just a NASA suborbital rocket launch.

Director of the New England Ghost Project and host of "The Ghost Chronicles," Ron Kolek, joins us in the Spooky Studio as we talk to Richard Felix, who woke up at 3 a.m. (UK time) to speak with us. Richard, best known as the paranormal historian for "Most Haunted," shares a lively discussion of the nature of the paranormal with us, as we try to figure out what's "Most Haunted"--"Old" England or "New" England. There are a few moments of missing audio, due to a technical glitch (and thanks once again to Craig Anderson for bailing us out!)

The one and only Jeff Belanger returns for his monthly co-hosting gig after a brief hiatus, and he asks the question, "What is a ghost?" The answer isn't as easy as you'd think. We also talk about the Lizzie Borden case and its paranormal legacy with actress Jill Dalton and Borden expert Faye Musselman. And, to top it all off, Jeff gives away concert tickets to one (un)lucky caller.

Chris Balzano also joins in the discussion as well.
