Marc Smolowitz opens "The Future of Television"
from recent posts - blip.tv (beta) July 19, 2008
At the episode of "Chef By Night" on July 17, 2008, a group of 18 media professionals discussed the trends and shifts in television that permeate their mindshare as they ponder and debate how television will evolve in terms of content creation, platforms, enablement, regulation, community participation, citizen journalism, peer-to-peer relationships, technology, and enablement. The host and creator (Peter Kuperman, sitting to the Mr. Smolowitz' left) of this innovative series also produced a dinner to-die-for centered around Poulet en Papillote that vaporized from the guests plates and onto their palates, to everyone's delight. Stay tuned for individual segments in which each of the guests speak about their enduring connection to television, the transformation of their perspective, and what they believe will be among the most significant changes to the medium.
