.:. Faux Press | Vidlicious .:. It s a tradition that after an actor s last scene the company will pause to say, Congratulations and adieu. Director Raymond De Felitta made sure this moment of Ezra Miller s final set moment was captured as a motion picture. My camera was the one most handy so it was rather left to me to put it together. Here it is, with Raymond s fine piano artistry behind.Ezra s a total shining star - in every way - and we all wish him the best, always. Perfect. Just like devices costing hundreds of dollars more, the Modosteady makes your camcorder react slowly to your motion providing a smooth image in your video. Its a great effect, useful for many shots, but not all. A slowly reacting camera is not a great way to follow fast action, but a shoulder pod is! Just turn a few sections on the Modosteady, and thats exactly what youll havea shoulder brace that works like a gunstock, giving you great support, but making it easy to follow the action. Want to get into the shot yourself? Just twist the sections, and pull the cap of the end of the handle, the handle the splits to become the three legs of a table-top tripod. Not bad for an under 200 buck accessory!

March 2005 is 3 years ago, and this post is about the posts that some videobloggers made in that month. March 2005 was pre-Youtube. We were still enthusiastic about this, in a different way from today. First I will introduce that month s work by four videobloggers I deeply respect, as well as my own from that month, and then I will make my own remix of all the footage from that month. #1: Jay Dedman @ March 2005 Scanning down that archive page we see that March 2005 included the beginning of Videoblogging week 2005, it included the infamous eyeball-video, the coca-cola dance video, and a video about his Northern Voice appearance. #2: Erik Nelson @ March 2005 Again, some Videoblogging Week 2005 videos are included, and a bicycle video, a view of a Dutch church, and a well. #3: Charlene Rule @ March 2005 The Belt, doing the taxes, stalking the veteran, ways of seeing. #4: Chris Weagel @ March 2005 Unpacking the goods, The Fourteen Rules of ealth (watch this!), Robot Hand, Dr Videoblog, Number Thirteen. #5 Myself @ March 2005 Anne Promotes Sarajevsko, meeting Mr. Hadziomerovic, birth of a letter, going home, a day out. These five individuals recording parts of our lives and sharing it. Now: A remix of the videos that I refer to above:

.:. Faux Press | Vidlicious .:. Cooking for one doesn t have to suck. No indeed. I used gala apples for the recipe shown; nicely sweet and soft after baking. The original recipe calls for one to peel the apples. I don t. For the nutrition and color. This is great for lunch right out of the oven - hot - and served in a bowl with a little milk. The next day it s great - again warmed - for 10 minutes @ 300° in the toaster oven. Just enough to take the chill off and crisp the sugar-glazed crust . Preheat oven to 400° 3 Grannie Smith Apples - cored sliced thin, are sautéed 5 minutes over medium high heat in ovenproof pan with: 2T butter 1/4 C sugar 1 t. cinnamon Mix together to create lovely batter consistency: 3 eggs 1/2C milk 1/2C flour 1 T. sour cream 1/4 t. salt 1 t. grated lemon zest Bake 25 minutes for golden-brown goodness that makes the house smell like home.Mucic: Makin Pies from Pattry Griffin s 1000 Kisses album. Formats available: Quicktime (.mov), Flash Video (.flv), MPEG-4 Video (.m4v)Tags: faux_press, dutch apple pancakes, recipe, breakfast, brunch, food
