AB962 is onerous gun control legislation that further harasses gun owners in California. Outlawing mail order ammunition purchasing, requiring in- person sales by state-trained employees, and keeping detailed personal information (to include thumb printing!) on the buyers will do nothing to increase public safety in California. Instead it creates another layer of bureaucracy that abrogates citizen privacy in the name of gun owner harassment. It is also an infringement of Second Amendment rights that could be subject to expensive but ultimately effective legal challenge. Over twenty years ago, Congress abolished similar requirements because ammunition sales records were found to be useless for solving crimes. Moreover it will have many unintended consequences such as increased difficulty in acquiring ammunition for law enforcement offices and providing a possible database that criminals could use to steal firearms from the residences of their owners. Also please VETO SB585, another unneeded piece of legislation which further restricts California law-abiding gun owners. The promoters and vendors at CA gunshows already comply with mind-boggling and complex CA regulatory requirements. SB585 attempts to waylay some more on these good citizens. SB585 lays a foundation of outlawing all gun shows on publicly-owned property within the state and I also adamantly oppose this legislation. It is an harassment bill. /// Your vetoing of these two bills will help restore some confidence of California gun owners (and freedom lovers worldwide) in your administration. Likewise, your support of these measures will encourage thousands to contribute and work towards your political defeat just like those suffered by the Democrats in 1994. Beyond Reality - Big Brother 11 Recap 9/06/09 Last time on Big Brother Natalie won the HOH & was a very poor sport about it. Jordan is all bummed out with Jeff gone. Natalie assures Kevin that she wants Michele out but she's going to put him up to protect him. HOH room - geeky pics of Natalie & her boyfriends blanket. Natalie tells Michele & Jordan that Kevin is the target to go home. Luxury competition - Teams of two have to match 5 items each and the remaining time is the length of their fashion shopping spree. They ended up with 3 minutes and 28 seconds for their shopping. Kevin dismembered a mannequin & stole its outfit. Kevin offers to team up with Michele & Natalie tries to team up with Jordan. Pandora's Box 2.0 - Natalie trades her playing in the POV for 5 mins with her boyfriend who proposes to her with a twist tie ring. She then sends in three annoyances in the form of a giant baby, copy cat & spraying cockroach into the house in exchange for 15 mins & sushi with her boyfriend. Natalie lies about what happened but no one seems to be buying it. Kevin calls her out on it & she tells everyone the truth about what happened except the fact she's not 18. America's vote - vote to give your favorite house guest $25,000. Nominations - Natalie nominates Michele because its personal & she's the devil. And Kevin because she wants to take him out before he takes her out. Thursday - The POV & the final HOH competition begins.

Beyond Reality - Big Brother 11 Recap 8/30/09 Last time on Big Brother - Russell was sent home & the HOH competition was in progress. Jeff is pretty confident that he'll be safe. Natalie pretty much threw it so it was all up to Kevin. Kevin won HOH. Kevin & Natalie strategize & Michele is sad & feeling all alone in the house. Kevin's HOH room was full of pictures of his hot husband & an emotional letter from him too. Jordan misses her family - Jeff digs a chick who's close with their family. Natalie tells Jordan she wants Michele to go. Jordan tells Jeff she thinks he's in trouble. Jordan has a peach? Natalie overreacts to a bug. Natalie tells Michele she's going home. Jeff likes girls in sweats with no make up who aren't really like Jordan but he still likes her. Kevin is confused. He tells Jeff he might be going on the block. Nominations - Kevin nominates Jeff & Michele because of strategy - They are both strong players. Jeff & Michele - its do or die time. Tuesday - The POV competition & ceremony & the secret door revealed.

Beyond Reality - Big Brother 11 Recap 8/27/09 Last time on Big Brother 11 Jeff used the POV on Kevin & put up Russell. Kevin & Natalie are thrilled but Michele is sad & Russell is angry. Jeff confronts Russell in the backyard & they get into a big fight. Both of them threaten each other. Jordan tries to defend Jeff but Russell is just annoyed by her. Russell tries to campaign for Kevin's vote. Its the day before the Live eviction & Russell tries to cause trouble with Jeff & Jordan. Jury house - Jessie loves himself more than anything or anyone. Lydia arrives and tries to hug him to death because she's so angry. Julie checks in with the house and asks about their past week. She also announces that there will be no more have nots. Jeff & Julie chat in the HOH room about Jeff's game this week. Natalie thanks everyone who had anything to do with her being on the show & is pretty confident she's staying. Russell explains his strategy & wishes everyone good luck. Russell is evicted by a vote of 3-0 and keeps it very classy on the way out. Julie chats with Russell & they listen to the goodbye messages - Jeff & Jordan weren't too kind in theirs. HOH Competition - The S'more the Merrier. Endurance competition - the houseguests have to fill up a large container with a cup while going back and forth on a slippery graham cracker. They had to walk a minimum of 4 miles to finish & Kevin wins HOH. Sunday - Nominations & the new twist.

Beyond Reality - Big Brother 11 Recap 8/23/09 Last time on Big Brother they left us in the middle of the HOH competition. Kevin was leading the whole time but Jeff kept his cool & in the end Jeff won the HOH. Michele & Russell had the least amount of cans & are the Have Nots for the week. Kevin and Natalie are the only two to have not won HOH. Natalie & Kevin want to make a final four deal with Jeff & Jordan. Jeff's HOH room was full of cute pics of Jeff & his family & friends and he got a sweet letter from home. Jordan wants to go on the Hawaii trip with Jeff. Michele & Russell want to make a final four deal with Jeff & Jordan but Jordan doesn't trust them. Jeff takes good care of the vegetable patch in the backyard - the secret must be doing it shirtless. Kevin thinks so anyway. The have nots get chitlins & Churros as their snack for the week. Natalie & Russell have a big blow-up over her losing in poker to him. Michele works underground like a mole & Jeff doesn't really grasp the whole neuroscience thingy. Jeff tells Kevin & Natalie they're going up as pawns. Jordan wants Russell gone. Nominations - Jeff nominates Kevin & Natalie because he hates them - just kidding - its because Kevin hasn't been on the block & Natalie has. Tuesday - the POV Competition & Ceremony

Beyond Reality - Big Brother 11 Recap 7/23/09 Laura and Jordan are up for eviction. Ronnie is a loser & a liar. Laura knows she's going home. Jeff & Jordan are having a showmance. Laura tries to make a deal with Ronnie. Ronnie tries to convince his alliance to keep Laura. Natalie gets to the bottom of Ronnie's lies and the whole house figures out that Ronnie played them. Ronnie locks himself in the HOH room and only comes out when neccessary. Russell taunts & tortures Ronnie every chance he gets. Julie chats with the House Guests & checks in with Ronnie in the HOH room. Jordan & Laura plead their cases to stay during the live part of the show. After the live vote Laura is evicted by a vote of 8-1. Natalie was the only vote for Laura to stay. Julie chats with Laura & the goodbye messages are played. Ronnie tells her she was evicted because she had diarrhea of the mouth...that's gross! HOH competition - Buzzworthy. It was like Big Brother Skee Ball. The player with the highest score will be HOH. Jeff & Jesse were tied with six. After a tiebreaker - Jesse wins HOH for the second time. Next time - Nominations & gross food choice revealed.
