MOSTLY BECAUSE THERE PROXIMITY TO DOWNTOWN ALBUQUERQUE WHERE THE STUDENT'S PARENTS WORK AND TO U-N-M WHERE SOME PARENTS GO TO CLASS. : SANDIA HIGH SCHOOL ALSO GETS A LOT OF TRANSFER STUDENTS AND IT'S ALSO THE ONLY A-P-S HIGH SCHOOL TO MEET THE ADEQUATE YEARLY PROGRESS STANDARDS FOR LAST YEAR. BUT A-P-S SAYS THEY RARELY SEE A TRANSFER REQUEST MADE JUST BECAUSE OF A SCHOOL'S A-Y-P REPORT. : 'They usually have their own reason and it's not a high percentage of them who say I specifically want a school that is not in need of improvement.' Grassroots leadership from the McCain campaign met today in South Bismarck. Ben Golnik, the Regional Campaign manager got together with local McCain supporters to discuss what's next in the race to the White House.
