Ultimate Pull Up Workout - Fitness Expert Shows How To Do Pull Up Easily

Ultimate Pull Up Workout - Fitness Expert Shows How To Do Pull Up Easily

from recent posts tagged pull - blip.tv (beta) on August 09, 2009

http://www.GuideToMuscleBuilding.com The pull up is one of the most challenging exercises for most people. It is a proxy for upper body strength. While most people think that it is unimaginable for them to attain such strength, the fact is that with consistent and repetitive practice this exercise can be achieved by virtually anyone. If you cannot do what is shown in the video, try the following first. To begin all you have to do is somehow hoist yourself up and hold your body up with your chin above the bar for as long as possible. You can use a helper for each of these steps if necessary. As you get better at this increase the amount of time you hold yourself above the bar. Next, you will move on to the controlled descent. This is where you control the downward movement of your body until your arms are fully extended. Descend as slowly as you can. Repeat this 2 or 3 times in a row with a helper if needed. Once you are good at the controlled descent then ask your helper to help you pulling yourself up from the hanging position. Repeat this process and practice frequently as before. With time, your strength will improve and soon you will be able to do proper pull up. If you are serious about your overall body strengith, check out http://www.GuideToMuscleBuilding.com

Cooking on the Upper Animas River

We took the Cook Man Food Show on the river with a Trip Down the Upper Animas with Mountain Waters Rafting. This is one of the best rivers in North America when the water is running hard. These guys take their food seriously and have setup a full commercial Kitchen at their camp that sits up above 10,000 feet. After we got off the river we got warmed back up with some great soup from Wind and Willow. Then got down to business and cooked steaks topped with onions mushrooms and bacon along with some chicken topped with green chilies and jack cheese. We finished then meal off with some biscuits and berry cobbler in the Dutch Oven. If you ever get a chance to come to Durango you should consider going on a trip with Mountain Waters. They simply do it better than anyone else.
