GREENHOUSE EFFECT have blasted into Myspace's Top 50 Bands of All Time Charts using a powerful formula of great songs, great - often hillarious videos, and some of the net's best strategy ever ....using their influences of such bands as the Pixies, A Noise Agency, Death "We're musicians first" says hagins "Alot of people don't understand me at all,..they will say things like 'stick to the guitar' ,..quit trying to be a drummer,..but what they don't see,..is I gotta do alot,...i am a whore,..sorta like Dave Grohl,..Alot of people watch me on the net daily so i always have to ham it up and impress...i need to show off various skills because it was the building blocks of us,..and plus we are such revolutionaries,..we are before the pixies 'and' Nirvana,...we're so indie - that we are into bands like "A Noise agency" that no ones ever heard of...and 'Blasphemous yellow,..for Gods sakes man ,..i used to read FACTSHEET FIVE MAGAZINE and i would buy ads in Flipside magazine in like 1988 !!At any given moment, there are up to 26 million different G.e. websites going at once on the net - ALL OF THEM gobbling up search engines and getting anywhere from 60 to 100 to 1000 view plays a day EACH ! "When you google g.e., you get like over two million searched on just one or two keywords alone,..we're frustrated because we are so huge - with no gigs,..no nothin,..and we're not making much money at this !! we just need a financial helper and Brandy will sell Five million copies alone !! We have our bad weeks and yes...we go into traffic 'lulls' at times,..and our youtubes suffer with low plays,..theres alot of fake stuff goin on at youtube....it hurts our band,...theres alot of bots and people paying out for big hits and traffic at youtube ,..its unfortunate,..we should be dominating there !! We've got some songs there with like 40,000 plays but people gotta understand that,..that is nothing for G.e. !!There is substancial internet debate as to whether it was really G.e. and NOT NIRVANA who really are the kings of grunge. "Well,..if you ask me,..its the Pixies,..that band got so ripped off and they are such nice humble people,...the pixies have lost millions of dollars and the true life they trully deserved,....they really are the real nirvana,...all this stuff about g.e. - i tell people ; don't get so mad at me,...'cause i ain't the one really whos saying it,...there are atleast four solid other people who say it way more than me,..and that would be Jeff Snow,..our first manager, Steve Hoverton our first attorney, and Phil Keegan (Dr. Phil) our guitarist from 1985 to 1990 and maybe my brother Jeff - who filmed so many of our gigs,....now,..do i think they ripped off the three piece image trappings thing for G.e. ?? yes i do - somewhat,..,..seeing how the same guys who worked with Nirvana are also the exact same three guys who talked to G.e. like way before in 1987 - AND some of them are from the South Bay (Redondo Calif) too,..if ya really wanna get technical ,....but i feel its the Pixies and Black Francis and Kim Deal that should file a real lawsuit for stolen likeness, sound, and image !! Though i know Flipper would argue because he 'is' the guitarist guy on 'Racers' afer all !!Viewers feel that watching Haggins is sorta like beholding a 'jack-of-all-trades' Mickey Rooney type when they watch g.e. "I had tremendous talent,..i ain't gonna fuckin lie - but the South Bay knows that way back then,..i was this humble nice sweet guy,..who was shy and wouldn't hurt a fly - i wasn't always the total dick that i am now (Laughs)" says Hagins"I'm bummed 'cause G.e. shoulda been signed in like April of 1991 - when Going Legit and "Ben is dead" came out,..RIGHT THERE!" says Hagins....
