How to Add Your Tweets to LinkedIn

How to Add Your Tweets to LinkedIn

http://twitter.com/trafficisgold Adding your Tweets to your Linkedin profile is easy to do. You no longer need third party applications to connect these two powerful social media sites. This video will show you step by step, how to add your Tweet stream to your Linkedin profile status update. One word of caution, if you tweet a lot you should select the option that only shows tweets that have the following #in tag (hash tag) in the tweet. Otherwise you run the risk of annoying people with your constant updates. I see this time and time again on Facebook. However facebook has a great hide feature. So if people tweet too much I just hide them. Please be sure to connect with me on Twitter http://twitter.com/trafficisgold and stop by my blog: http://www.trafficisgold.com Hope that Helps! What is Twitter Good For?

What is Twitter Good For?

http://twitter.com/chrispirillo - An aquaintance of mine, Deb, made an interesting assertion at the [re]Think Hawaii conference last week. She suggested that Twitter is where conversations are happening. I suggested that that isn't quite accurate. As you very well know, I am on Twitter. However, I don't use it to have conversations as some of you do. To me, trying to use Twitter to have a conversation is similar to using a screwdriver to pound a nail into a steel door. Sure, it's a tool... but are you using that tool the way it was designed? http://chris.pirillo.com - http://geeks.pirillo.com

Grunge Rock ; "Racers" Greenhouse Effect Mixtape 1988 - Phil Keegan Guitar. South Bay Legends (Music).

Grunge Rock ; "Racers" Greenhouse Effect Mixtape 1988 - Phil Keegan Guitar. South Bay Legends (Music).

Guitarist Phil Keegan put his own trademark stamp on "Fuzz Rock" or "Grunge" deep in the mid 1980's with muddy brazen tracks like "Precarious" and 1988's "Racers". "Six Feet Under" would be a tighter and more refined G.e. Sound as the band later evolved in March 1989 with "The Four Song E.p." Drummer Clark Hagins sang the Lead vocals directly from the drumkit ! Hagins was a great drummer who hit like a mean Keith Moon but was an even better Lead singer with vocals somewhere between David Bowie, Robert Plant, and Iggy Pop !! Bassist Rick Carmody is probobly the most 'well known' member of G.e. internationally what with his red hair and very weird 'un-rocklike' demeanor ,....The Greenhouse Effect Would explode on the internet in 2006 and 2007 as one of the first alternative rock bands to really capitalize upon the new 'video boom era"..........Tracks like 1991's "Brandy" and "Black or White Song" would make the trio internationally known and top downloaded. Millions of people around the world have a Greenhouse Effect song in their ipod !! GoogleVideoCom declared G.e. as one of their most watched bands of 2008 with "Brandy"......Thousands of Internet Radios such as Jango have picked up G.e. Songs .....Says Keegan; "We started out playing where ever we could,...at the end of every gig, Hagins would smash all his drums,..I know that seems cliche - but NOBODY was doing THAT in 89' ,..it was all cheesey glam metal then ,..we were true originators,....Hagins would take our tapes and pictures of the band to the Major Labels,...not just to Indie ones,...We had big dreams to be the biggest rock band in the world and 'grunge' was the way we were going to do it - our uniqueness,... ,..Well , unfortunately,..it never happened,..after I left,..I think the band went downhill,....they couldn't get a record contract,....Who knows what would have happened with G.e. if I was still around with it !!" - "Other bands moved in and capitalized with our ideas,...if Hagins says that labels like Geffen took his vision then it might be true,..We went to Geffen in 1988 and Gary Gersh,..because that band Asia with Steve Howe from Yes was on Geffen,..and Steve Howe is one of my favorite Guitarists !! We got Great reviews in Flipside and all kinds of indie rock magazines,..everybody raved about us,..and we were the shit live,..when we played at Wilson park,..we would play with like 6 or 7 other bands and it didn't matter who was on the bill,..we would crush em !! I made damn sure of it " ----- "Waiting for your Love to fail!" explodes with anger and passion in May 1990 and the "Immorally Moral" three Song E.p. cassette. Producer Sound Engineer Bill Krodel pulls every ounce of angery energy from the band at Redondo Beach's Don Dokken owned Pendragon Studios. Says Clark Hagins; "Working with Bill Krodel at the console was amazing,..the man is a South Bay legend,..he 'made' us great,...We took things all to new levels when he recorded us,...even though he was on the phone most of the time (Laughs). Krodel died of a rare disease in September 2008 which shook the band and Hagins in particular. "I miss my friend,..I miss the guy who brought out the maturity in G.e." "When 'Waiting' was being recorded,..I was going through some weird tramatic shit - some of it just invented by me,..and some of it all too real,..my sister had just died,..and we felt that maybe she was murdered ,..on the island of Bali in the Far East,...A girl who I really fancied had gotten pregnant and gotten married,...it was the most devestating shit that I ever went through and I wish THAT on nobody ,..no enemy is that bad !! I just got into some serious drinking spells then,...Then in late 91'...grunge music exploded,..but it didn't include ME - OR FLIPPER,..we weren't there as,..far lesser bands were being made famous,..and alot of it because of their simple stupid left wing political biases,...their beliefs which co-insided with Liberal A & R's and Hollywood,..it sucked man,..it was a bummer,..and now we're too old,..we can't get it back,..."

6 Feet Under - Phil Keegan Guitar - Greenhouse Mixtape Songs

from recent posts tagged hilton - blip.tv (beta) on July 26, 2009
Duration: 227
"Six Feet Under" from 1989 is One of the best known G.e. Songs ! Greenhouse Effect Mixtape Songs; This classic track is an all out politically motivated attack on the recording industry that was written, produced, and nearly entirely recorded by Guitarist Phil Keegan. The tight drumming and bass playing by Clark Hagins and Rick Carmody respectively adds a jazzy feel to this bluesy "Eric Clapton / Stevie Ray Vaughn" type little three minute jam. The angry pointful lyrics are a true, heartfelt rant - that has become the thing of indie rock legend by Keegan...
