I can look back on numerous events I felt played a major role in determining the course of my life. In hindsight I see the course of my life was determined by ME, and not the events that were seemingly forced upon me.

This video came about as a result of a developing friendship between myself and the Duke (yogaduke) - for me this represents everything that is good about friendship, talent and the community spirit to be found in the YouTube Global Village. The video element was captured by Duke on Independence Day 2008 at Austin Texas in the United States of America. It was filmed using a Canon HV30 mounted on tripod and edited with Pinnacle version 12. The video footage was previously released by Duke here on YouTube and also on vimeo. This is some of the best footage I've ever seen of a firework display and Duke has made an excellent job of editing the film. The soundtrack was composed and performed by myself and was previously released on this channel under the name Trance . Duke very kindly suggested this joint venture and used his remarkable skills to make this delightful video for your enjoyment. I watched this in a darkened room with the sound turned right up and I was thrilled with the result. Duke has given this tune a new lease of life and I hope that you will all enjoy the result. The music was recorded with a Patrick Eggle Berlin Standard (customised by Jonah UK) being played thru' a Roland BossGT5 Guitar Effects Processor. No other instruments were used and the guitar is not a Midi instrument. The signal was fed straight into the PC and recorded using Sonic Foundry SoundForge 6.0d (now Sony).
