(July 8)[Notes:all video and images from NOAA]The first named storm of the hurricane season is getting weaker.Bertha had swelled into a Category 3 storm on Monday but forecasters in at the National Hurricane center say it has dropped back down to a Cat 2.As of Tuesday morning it has maximum sustained winds of 105 miles per hour, with some higher gusting.Bertha is swirling out in the Atlantic, far away from any land.Forecasters say they think it will continue to weaken over the next couple of days as it drifts toward Bermuda.They say it is still too soon to say when of even if it will make landfall.However they are urging residents in Bermuda to keep a close eye on storm and review their preparation plans. ___ ___, The Associated Press. (July 8)[Notes:ANCHOR VOICE] [Notes:various NOAA images]Hurricane Bertha is still way out in the central Atlantic. But the season's first hurricane has reached category 3 status. The storm's maximum sustained winds are blowing near 120 miles an hour. Forecasters say it is not posing any threat to land now ... But they do expect it to head toward Bermuda. The National Hurricane Center says Bertha should stay at the category three intensity for a day or two. Na Boate Tropical em Salvador, um grupo de artistas transformistas revivem o sketch televisivo Painho e as suas Cunhãs, resgatando um momento cômico do humor nacional criado por Chico Anizio nos anos 80. A personagem principal é o pai-de-santo Painho, afetadíssimo e cheio de maneirismos, que criou na época o bordão popular TÔ MORTA! Na peça, no teatro Carmem Miranda da Boite Tropical, palco dedicado à apresentações GLS, a visita mais ilustre durante a estréia foi a do Babalorixá Bel de Oxum, a personalidade do candomblé e famoso vidente, que inspirou o comediante Chico Anizio à criar o personagem. No elenco, o empresário Marcos Mello encarna o Painho e as estrelas Andrezza Lamarck, Scher Marie, Ivanelly Vergman e Peggy Larowski são as ekédis – as Cunhãs daquele Abaitolá.
