Your own piece of Paradise â Six Senses Hideaway Ninh Van BayYour own piece of Paradise â Six Senses Hideaway Ninh Van Bay
from Luxury Travel Hotel Nightlife Restaurants Vacation
July 12, 2008

journeyPod is your guide to luxury travel around the world. And around the world and a boat ride later is where we found a âhideawayâ, an island tucked away off the coast of Nha Trang, Vietnam in the middle of the South China Sea. Ever dream of your own private beach villa, complete with private pool, and private beach, and butler that answers to your every whim? Dream no further. journeyPod has found it for you! Nha Trang, Vietnam, capital of KhÃnh HÃa province, is located about 280 miles north of Saigon. After youâve trekked around Nha Trang and experienced the fascinating culture, the incredible food, and the most accommodating people, head to a place of total relaxation and privacy. A place so exclusive you need a private boat to travel there. And once you are there, you have nothing to do but relax. journeyPod recommends a Thai massage, performed by Tam, over a babbling brook. journeyPod sat down with Six Senses Hideaway Ninh Van Bayâs GM, Godfrey Vas, for an inside look at this amazing island property. Although there are only 58 villas on theis island resort, they staff at Hideaway numbers over 470! Thatâs more than 7 staff for each villa...talk about service! Six Senses Hideaway Ninh Van Bay sister property is located about 30 minutes via boat across the bay on the mainland. Ana Mandara is another journeyPod pick. Be sure to check out the Ana Mandara podcast from a previous show. For now, Iâll leave you with the tropical sounds of Sugar Fix and their song Private Island.

November 02, 2007

Ever wonder what would happen if you mixed together hardcore movie buffs, independent filmmakers, great parties and amazing weather? The San Diego Film Festival held this past September, mixed just that. The four-day fest offered attendees a complete experience, filled with film premieres, educational panels, and nightly party options. Co-founded by an award-winning filmmaker Karl Kozak (known for the acclaimed indie feature films: To Hell With Love, Out of the Black, Clawed and Skidmarks) and his wife Robin Laatz-Kozak, the San Diego Film Festival has been dedicated to supporting diverse, independent films for the last six years. Each year, the Festival works hard to program a line-up of nearly 100 films - from newcomers to future Academy Award-winning films. This year's festivities also included the largest screenwriting conference in the nation. Having earned an abundance of awards that include: Best Festival, Best Regional Film Fest, Best Beach Fest, and a coveted spot as one of the country's Top 10 Film Festival Vacations - its no surprise that the San Diego Film Festival is such a hit! So for all you listeners...if you're looking for a great Film Festival experience, make sure to check out next year's San Diego Film Festival lineup. Want even more behind the scenes info on this year's San Diego Film Festival? Check out our Events Can't Breathe .

Dr Fitness' Best Weight Loss Tip Show. Learn His Secrets To Staying Fit While You Travel And How To Get A Good Nights SleepDr Fitness' Best Weight Loss Tip Show. Learn His Secrets To Staying Fit While You Travel And How To Get A Good Nights Sleep
from Dr. Fitness & the Fat Guy Making Healthy Living Fu
May 13, 2007

The most entertaining weight loss and fitness show on radio. Please click on the POD button to listen to the latest Dr. Fitness and the Fat Guy radio show podcast. On tonight's show, Doctor Fitness and the Fat Guy get the skinny about weight loss and fitness from the one and only Dr Fitness. We gave a few shout outs. First a big thank you to the Hungry Girl. Please check out her site at www.hungry-girl.com. She was kind enough to run an article Dr Fitness wrote on what to eat before a workout and that brought in a whole new bunch of listeners. So Thank you very much. We would also like to welcome Dr Monte into the fold. Dr Monte does the Fitness Rocks podcast at www.fitnessrocks.org. Fitness Rocks is a popular podcast that is always one of the top ranked podcasts in iTunes And we gave a big shout outs to all the Moms that listen. Happy Mother's Day. This is the first time since we started doing the show that both guests didn't call in. That's not good. So tonight the doctor and me just chatted about all things fitness. So if you tune in for me and the doctor bantering you are in for a treat. The Doctor had to bring some great workout tips because we didn't have any guests to carry the show like usual. So we had another installment of ...Dr Fitness' Things You Can Do Today To Lose Weight Tomorrow. Here are a few of Dr. Fitness' secrets about how to make sure you are losing weight even if you do some traveling at hotels...Number 1, before you book the hotel make sure they have some workout equipment or pool. Number 2, avoid the vending machines. Bring in healthy snacks from nearby grocery stores. And Number 3, explore the city - go for a walk or a run. The Doctor had to bring a double dose of tips. Here are a few of Dr. Fitness' secrets about how to sleep well each and every night...Number 1, don't eat right before bedtime. Number 2, take a hot bath or shower right before going to bed. And Number 3, make the bedroom a sanctuary - no TV, no computer - just a place to rest and relax. Kathie was in Michigan doing something for the Real Savvy Moms TV show but she did give away some of our books which made the doctor happy. She'll be away for the next couple of weeks as she films her Real Savvy Moms show in hot spots around the world. Boy could we have used her tonight. Remember she is one of the top feet and legs model's out there... she is so hot she got to be a body double for Alyssa Milano a few weeks ago. Be sure to check out Kathie's website www.getkathie.com. Also check her out on www.RealSavvyMoms.com. We also made our Michigan radio debut on WKNW this week. They asked us to create a Dr Fitness and the Fat Guy Wellness Minute. So now a new Wellness Minute runs on that station each day. Each Wellness Minute features the doctor and I going over 5 of his best tips on a given wellness subject like: losing weight, getting in shape, living a healthy lifestyle, etc. We're working on ways to make those tips available to all our listeners. So let us know what you think by sending us an email with Wellness Minute in the subject line. Also once again, I need you to please do me a favor. My nine year kid Max made his radio debut in his new show Kid Power Radio. This is a great show for your kids. It is kind of like a kids version of David Spade's Showbiz Show on Comedy Central. Max recaps the week in entertainment and gives his take and review of what he liked and didn't like on TV, at the movies in books and in music. Please go to his site and download the show for your kid. And if your kid sends Max an email he'll read it on the air next week. The show can be found at www.kidpower.libsyn.com and you can email Max at RadioStarMax at Yahoo.com. Your encouragement is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!! As always, more laughs, more info and more fun than any other health, fitness, weight loss podcast out there. Click the podcast button and check out the entire show right now. Don't forget to check out the Doctor Fitness and the Fat Guy blog at www.weightlossradio.blogspot.com for more tips about weight loss and Dr. Shafran's analysis of all things health and fitness. Also check out our website www.drfitnessandthefatguy.com to subscribe to our FREE weekly healthy living newsletter. You can also email Dr. Fitness there with your specific questions and he will personally answer each one. Promise!!
