An animated World War II drama by Ryan "the Riley Man" Robinson. This story is fictional, but inspired by actual events. For My Fellow Soldier follows one British soldier as he journeys through Normandy, and touches the lives of those around him. After his first tour of duty completed, Lance Holmes found himself in love with a captivating woman who had fled the German occupation in Paris. Lance and his new wife Stephanie then moved north to central England, making themselves a new home.As the Normandy campaign continued to grow, and casualties mounted, Lance was informed his services would once again be required. His dedication to the continued war effort immediately found itself at odds with his new life. Stephanie would have to wait back in England, as Lance travelled through Normandy with a new squad to protect one small village in France...This machinima film was created with "The Movies" videogame, created by Lionhead Studios Ltd. To TMO or Not To TMOTo TMO or Not To TMO

July 22, 2008

An animated short film by Ryan "the Riley Man" Robinson. In the tradition of Dr. Seuss, and the 1940's "How-To" series by Disney, comes To TMO or Not To TMO. Follow "TMOMovieMaker" as he attempts to create his first "The Movies" film. Assisted by the narrator, will he complete his film and gain TMO fame, or go completely crazy trying?! "The Movies" is a video game produced by Lionhead Studios Ltd. "TMO" stands for "The Movies Online", the official website associated with this game. As the website is currently down, I have placed this film here. I would consider this film "edutainment" -- both an educational tool for people creating their first "The Movies" film; and a piece of entertainment for a wider audience. The bar you see along the bottom of the screen is TMOMovieMaker's "mood meter" -- a fun graphical representation of his current mood. All voice actors are from the local "The Movies" game community. I hope any viewers not familiar with "The Movies" game enjoy. Feel free to use the comments to tell me what you thought! Empire (Part Four)Empire (Part Four)
from KrazyKritter
May 11, 2008

The adventure continues... After Guntharis' victorious campaign against Ornaris, Lord Bryce and General Seth make plans for the defeated land of Ornaris, while Cecilia begins to contemplate her future in Guntharis. Meanwhile, Matthew's quest to visit the mother who gave birth to him in Guntharis, is being hindered as he is still being deceived by the false promise of two scheming Fallaris scouts named Pieter and Abel, who intend on bringing Matthew back to their new, consolidating camp for slave work instead of Guntharis as they promised. The trio venture on as they are hunted by savage land pirates and the angry leader of the land pirates, Al-Khouraan... Loaded with drama, adventure and action, Empire (Part Four) is a rollercoaster of emotions, as the story continues... However, this part marks the end, for one character we all know and love. (NO SPOILERS IN YOUR REVIEWS PLEASE!) NOTE: As there is a recap at the beginning of the film, for those who have seen the previous installments, you should be able to catch up. Durban Edgen Animations www.edgen.com Sound Effects from SoundDogs ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ DIRECTORS NOTE: A total of 35 hours was spent in AMM creating this project, but I can honestly say that I spent longer in PaintShopPro, and as I developed the project from the ground up, I am really proud of what I have acheived with Part Three. It has certainly by far been the most difficult to make, but certainly the most fun to write and direct. My parents (both harsh critics on my work) thoroughly enjoyed this part the most, and I must say it is certainly the best out of the 3, as I did everything to improvise upon the reviews I received from Part Two. Learning how to mod with the help of KillerBee5 and the folks at DCModding has helped me so much in this project, and if you want to learn how to mod, be sure to read up as much as you can! I have worked solidly daily on this project for 2 months, and I am planning on supporting the community and other projects a little more than I have been as I take a small break from my endeavors. You won't encounter any major sound sync issues, only a very little bit (less than half a second) near the end during a particular scene (I don't want to spoil it :D), but after that it snaps back on track. I am really happy with the clean export, especially with the movie running at 25 minutes. If you would like tips on avoiding the sound sync bug, please feel free to check out my thread! http://allboards.lionhead.com/showthread.php?t=2 14036 There is a devils bookmark near the beginning, but is only a brief flash and the only one in the whole film (I couldn't get rid of it, no matter what I tried), but that shouldn't affect the film. I hope you guys enjoy Part Three as much as I did directing and writing it (without help this time except for one or two lines where I was aided by Mustachio26), so please let me know how I did! Thanks for watching! Enjoy! - Andy
