Filed under: News, Exclusive, Movies We know that Jack White steals the show in Davis Guggenheim's forthcoming guitarist documentary, 'It Might Get Loud,' but that's not to say that there weren't other moments where distinct personality traits of the Edge and Jimmy Page became apparent. The documentary traces the roots of U2 and Page's pre-Led Zeppelin career, showing that each have different histories with the rock's grand instrument. "Jimmy's evolution was about searching as a kid for records. In London, you just couldn't find those great blues records," Guggenheim tells Spinner. "His excitement comes out when he's talking about his records. Edge is all about staying up late and working, becoming the mad scientist. He's very methodical, very systematic and focused. Jack is very aggressive about smashing things and refusing to be conventional. I let them tell their own story, so their personalities come through, the same way it does on the guitar."

Filed under: News, Exclusive, Movies Hitting select theaters this Friday is 'It Might Get Loud,' Davis Guggenheim's latest film since the poignant, Oscar-winning 'An Inconvenient Truth.' The focus here is on three guitar gods of different generations: Jimmy Page, the Edge and Jack White. While a good portion of the film has all three sitting down at what they call "The Summit," the White Stripes frontman provides the film's most interesting, if not entertaining moments. For example, for several scenes, there's a mini Jack White on camera, alongside the real, grownup Jack White. "He just showed up one day and in the back of the car was a nine-year-old dressed like him and he introduced me, said this is Jack," Guggenheim tells Spinner. "That's Jack White for you. He's like 'I want to teach myself how to play guitar.'" When asked whether or not they were related in any capacity, Guggenheim says "as far as I know, it was Jack White as a 9 year old boy. The audience gets it."
