For his 20th Blue Note album, Joe Lovano delivers a milestone recording, "Symphonica," a bold and beautiful orchestral project recorded largely in concert with the WDR Radio Big Band and Orchestra from Cologne, Germany, with the music arranged and conducted by Michael Abene, the musical director of the big band. Fayette County was treated to a perfect performance by soloist Sgt. 1st Class Antonio Giuliano and the Army Ground Forces Band's "Concert Band". Amazing talent! The Band performed at Peachtree City's Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater (The Fred). Although storms were predicted for the evening the rain bypassed the County. The severe storm warning was lifted early, just prior to the start of the concert! Giuliano astounded the crowd and had them on their feet numerous times as his voice reached higher and higher to hit the purest notes time after time.
