Deze keer is het een extra lange aflevering geworden (45 minuten). Om alle features van de Billings 3 Report Engine te laten zien zou ik echter nog veel meer tijd nodig hebben. Ik heb dan ook geprobeerd om de belangrijkste zaken te laten zien aan de hand van een echt voorbeeld. In deze tutorial laat ik u zien hoe ik de factuur voor Devia (mijn bedrijf) heb ontwikkeld aan de hand van de Billings 3 Report Enigine. Het ganse proces zou u een duidelijk beeld moeten geven van de mogelijkheden, en staat even nader stil bij volgende zaken : - Inleiding tot de Report Engine. - Overzicht van de GUI, wat vind je waar terug op het scherm. - Wat is het verschil tussen de Pagina en de Body. - De Preview of Voorvertoning gebruiken om het resultaat te zien van uw ontwerp. - Hoe voeg je afbeeldingen of uw logo toe aan uw factuur template. - Het gebruik van Bands of Stroken om onderdelen van uw fatuur te groeperen. - Het gebruik van een Tekst Vak om 'vaste' tekst op uw factuur te plaatsen. - Een Dynamische Tekst gebruiken om velden uit de database te gebruiken in uw factuur. - Een tabel gebruiken om een lijst van Werk Fiches toe te voegen aan uw factuur. - Lettertypes en kleuren aanpassen van verschillende onderdelen. Als bonus bekijken we ook even hoe we verschillende templates kunnen groeperen ondeer n template met verschillende layouts.
