10,835 Views - Vod Pod Video for the Planet's Most Watched Band "The Greenhouse Effect" and Swimming Pool Cleaner Clark Hagins . The Redondo Beach Trio , Led by Guitarist Phil Keegan and his "TotalSonicFuzzdom" style of Grunge guitar , have become legends Of the internet as their videos and Myspace are Top watched and heavily studied Websites of the internet Web !! Their band website; www.thegreenhouseEffectrocks.com and it's manic 'blogs' are some of the most trafficed in cyberspace as G.e. racks up astounding TSW (Time Spent Watching) Web daily numbers with ease. G.E. are clearly obviously no ordinary band indeed. This strange power trio with the very catchy songs rock more like the Beatles or the Who than sound like another u2 clone or Coldplay copyest. The clear "inventors" of grunge got their start long LONG before their was ever a Nirvana or Pearl jam. Somehow, record contracts and stadium rock glory eluded the Mighty G.e. and today, they are all in their mid 40's but with mass emails, glorious rock 'videos' and tons of the biggest internet hype and Jango Radio airplay, G.E. live again in the recent years of 2007,8, and 9 - bigger than any other band ,...atleast in cyberspace... "What would a G.e. gig sound like today??" wonders Hagins "Well,..i can tell you this,...if we had just a week or two to rehearse and lay down some of our best songs,..well obviously ,..you would once again see the Greatest band on Earth,...but don't look for it to happen anytime soon,...We all can't stand each other (Laughs),..or atleast,..none of them can stand ME !! ,...ITS alot like Bubblepuppy or Credence,..We've fallen apart into several different incarnations and 'camps',...We threaten each other with lawsuits n shit,....We argue over who started G.e. or even came up with the name,..and all that,..its a mess,...and there is many different versions of G.e. - but I know THIS; I AM IN 'ALL' OF THEM (Laughs),...the three of us really don't speak,...actually,...I should say THE EIGHT OF US (LAUGHS) !! GREENHOUSE EFFECT Went through many different drummers,..among them Bell/South Gate's Mike Valencia, Torrance's Rich Hebben, Long Beaches Greg Tarpley, and San Pedro skin pounder Martin Silva,..and even Haggins himself as well !!! "Don't forget Palle from Denmark" says Hagins with a Laugh. "We went through so many phases as a band" says Haggins "Thats what makes us so damned interesting to millions of people,..we really had a unique and interesting evolution" Greenhouse Effect's 1991 stunner "Brandy" has grown to become one of alternative Rock's most remarkable tracks in cyberspace as it is seen millions of times a day in over 200 Countries as it racks up impressive embeds and downloads - especially In England where one would sware that G.e. is British "The song is so damned good" says Hagins "The hillarious British accent on it makes it a novelty classic - it doesn't 'sound' like Greenhouse Effect - NOT AT ALL !!" HAGINS says that the keys to his songwriting success are lotsa lotsa hours of lonliness and a horrible childhood. "Definitely,..you can feel my pain in all my songs but especially in tracks Like Brandy" says Hagins "We convey a disarming vulnerability that is so fucking real,..We are the real shit !!" www.jango.com/music/GreenhouseEffect - www.jango.com/music/GreenhouseEffect - www.theGreenhouseEffectrocks.com
