This has probably been my most work-intensive video so far. I had been tossing around a couple of ideas for a while and this was what I came up with. It was an entry for a video competition.Author: rpgamer2003 Tags: cgi match moving animation special effects vfx surreal vintage super8 lens flare after Posted: 20 October 2009 Rating: 0.0 Votes: 0

Pass the Cart II- cart 2 of 5

Pass the Cart II- cart 2 of 5

from recent posts tagged toronto - blip.tv (beta) on September 22, 2009

Pass the Cart II A project put together by the members of the filmshooting.com forum. Consists of 5 E64t Cartridges that have toured the world. I was fortunate enough to be involved, and this is CART #2. I shot the last film with the two fellas in Toronto. Sorry for my lateness. Business, life and shooting has gotten in the way. I was really bummed about the last k40 cart getting lost and wanted to shoot something that would top my last one.. (hard one to beat, I had some great dolly shots of a mime in victorian era clothing in a dense forested area in high park)... In the end I bucked down, set a date and convinced myself I was going to shoot it that day, make or break, no matter what. We had it all planned out, storyboarded on DSLR, and last minute the actress had to pull out as we ran out of time to shoot. In comes plan B, shot rehearsal tests on an EX-1 6 times for rehearsals and timing review; then rolls in the beaulieu 4008 to shoot it for real. We cut out a lot of shots which would have rounded out the toronto landscape a little better, but I was worried about it being at the end of the cart and losing a shot because I might not have the full 10'.

VERBIER 08 - Acid Burn Productions

Acid Burn Productions Presents - VERBIER 08 The Super 8mm Film from Verbier, Switzerland has finally been processed, transferred, and edited. Freebord flew the entire company out to Verbier for the O’Neill Extreme back at the end of March for 7 days of incredible snowboarding and freebording. We met up with riders from all over Europe to ride and get wasted everyday, and documented most of the fun on a 1974 Minolta XL-400 Super8 camera using Ektachrome 64t and Black & White Film. We flew into Zurich, Switzerland and drove across the country to Verbier in a 70’s VW bus. When we arrived we got hooked up with a phat condo minutes from the main gondola to the top of the 4 Vallees mountains. Everyday we rode on free passes and then freeborded down the 8 mile mountain pass through town. Along the way we got chased by the Swiss Police for riding the highway (however they had trouble keeping up with us around the turns), tripping spectators out as we bombed passed them with spins and drawn out slides. Definitely more Verbier videos to come as soon as we get to editing the rest of the footage. Enjoy… Riders: Jessica Ryan (USA) Roberto Lopez (Spain) Joey Pader (USA) Steve Bianco (USA) Cedric Durussel (Switzerland) Arnaud Blin (France) Jonathan Ehm (France) Tim Seward (USA) John Laudin (USA) Bob Glashan (USA) Laurent De Zutter (Belgium) Remi Chapelain (France) Filmed & Edited by: Tim Seward Music: Fisherspooner – The 15th Author: Freebord Tags: freebord switzerland snowboard freebording snowboarding longboard bomb bombing longboarding downhill verbier super8 8mm film Posted: 15 May 2008 Rating: 4.6 Votes: 69
