In the early morning or New Year's Day, 1945, as the last great German offensive in the Ardennes slowly smouldered to an end, the Luftwaffe launched a surprise attack simultaneously on all the forward Allied tactical airfields. At some bases the Luftwaffe attack is devastation, destroying aircraft and rendering airstrips useless. But at Y-29 near Asch Belgium the result wasunlike anything the Luftwaffe had imagined.Produced By JRJacobs

On December 16th, 1944, the Germans launched their last major offensive in the West, in what would soon be known as the Battle of the Bulge. Trying to cross the Meuse River, take Antwerp, and split the Allied armies, they hoped to force a negotiated peace settlement. By Christmas Eve they had come close to their initial objectives . The 3rd Air Division, in the largest mission of the war, made a direct tactical assault on airfields in the Frankfurt area. Crews were told that their route was planned on purpose to go directly over the ground troops positions for moral purposes. On December 24th, the 3rd Air Division assembled over England. The first group, numbering 1,400 heavy bombers and escorted by 726 fighters attacked the airfields; the second group of 634 bombers was supported by about 200 fighters and struck communication facilities west of the Rhine And in the Lead B-17G, on his 30th mission, rode Brigadier General Fred W. Voila une vido faite par Classic, sur une mission historique realise par Dundas, relatant les faits du squadron 342 Lorraine lors de la seconde guerre mondiale :) et desol de m'etre tromp lors de mon premier commentaire ;)

Video de presentation d'IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 ralise me semble-t-il par l'escadrille de Simulation-France-Magazine, les FAW (si c'est faux dites le moi ! ). Je m'excuse d'avance aupres des realisateurs et participants a cette video pour ne pas leur avoir demander leur autorisation et les prie de bien vouloir m'excuser. Cette video est digne d'interet et j'ai pris la libre decision de la publier sur ce site, toutefois si il(s) ou elle(s) veulent ne plus la voir figurer je trouverai cela tout a fait normal ;) faites le moi savoir :)

Et voil, avec l'arrive tant attendue de "IL-2 Sturmovik 1946" l'un des nouveaux appareils disponible. C'est galement ma premiere video solo :) Un grand merci a Classic pour avoir fait le montage de cette video, ainsi qu'a tous les ClassicDog guys pour l'excellente ambiance qui regne dans l'escadrille, et pour tous les vols ou a defaut de voler correctement on se marre bien ;o)
