Moto GP 2008 Laguna Seca Crashes Stoner And Lorenzo

IL DUELLO TRA ROSSI E STONER CHE ACCUSA VALENTINO PER LE MANOVRE AL LIMITE!! E adesso anche Laguna Seca entra nel palmares di Valentino Rossi. Non aveva mai vinto il principe di Tavullia sul circuito californiano, sembrava quasi una maledizione. E invece ieri sera (ora italiana) ha messo il suo sigillo mettendo la museruola a un Casey Stoner duro, cattivo e determinato come non mai. Quello che non si aspettava, l'australiano della Ducati, era che Valentino risolvesse in mattinata i problemi di assetto della sua Yamaha ed avesse deciso che l'unica tattica da adottare per avere ragione dell'avversario, fosse quello di stargli davanti sempre e comunque, anche a costo di fare manovre non proprio ortodosse ma con l'obiettivo di mettere una pressione tale addosso a Stoner da inurlo all'errore. Dal primo al 24° giro quando cioè l'australiano ha fatto l'errore fatale che ha aperto la strada a Rossi sono stati tutti giri per gente con le coronarie a posto e vietato a chi non soffre di emozioni. Stoner al via parte bene ma Valentino non è da meno e appena arriva il terribile cavatappi piomba sulla Ducati e si porta la comando. E da quel momento non molla più la presa, toglie il respiro e la visuale al suo nemico e blocca tutte le uscite. Ci riesce anche con le cattive, al terzo giro, quando pur di tenersi alle spalle Stoner, finosce leggermente lungo sul cordolo rientra in pista e va a sbattere contro la carena dell'australiano. Tutto, Stoner, poteva aspettarsi meno che Valentino facesse una manovra del genere. Deve essersi preso paura ed ha preferito, forse sbagliando, di adottare una tattica attendista, di restargli alle spalle controllandolo a pochi decimi di distanza. E Valentino non aspettava altro, abituato com'è nella lotta corpo a corpo, bravo nel saper amministrare le gare. Stoner, come detto, al 24° giro, stanco di restare alle spalle, ha provato una staccata impossibile: per non tamponare l'uomo Yamaha è finito lungo, finendo largo e poi nella sabbia. E' anche caduto, Casey, ma ha ripreso la moto ed è tornato in gara. In quel momento la gara però era finita. Il vantaggio era tale che Casey ha chiuso in seconda posizione. A fine gara immancabile la polemica. Stoner non ci sta a perdere e lo dice chiaramente: «Se tutto quello che ha combinato Valentino l'avessi fatto io, adesso mi troverei con una bella squalifica addosso». L'australiano non ha infatti gradito le sportellate di Rossi durante la gara. Il modo migliore, per Valentino, di andare in vacanza: con altri 5 punti di vantaggio inc lassifica su Casey mentre alle spalle dei due c'è un Dani Pedrosa che, già a casa, non ha potuto difendersi. Sarà lotta a due fino alla fine. L' appuntamento adesso è per il periodo di Ferragosto a Brno, Repubblica Ceca. Per quel periodo la Yamaha farà trovare a Valentino una moto nuova di zecca, con le ultime diavolerie uscite dal reparto corse di Iwata. Per l'assalto al mondiale, Valentino avrà bisogno di tutto l'aiuto possibile.
