We have been getting a lot of requests to record music from Chrono Cross. Here is the first video from this series. This is the introduction, Scars of Time. When I was arranging this piece for ocarina, violin and piano, I couldnt figure out how to get the piano to produce the drumming effect. For the very first time, I had to create an accompaniment track that is not played by one of us, and use it in the video. We hope you enjoy this video. Dulcinea is from the well-known musical, Man of La Mancha which is an adaptation of Miguel de Cervantes's Don Quixote. In the story, Don Quixote is a crazy old man who thinks that he is a noble knight. The song is sung by Don Quixote to a barmaid named Aldonza whom he believes is a beautiful fair maiden, his "queen." He names her Dulcinea, and sings of her beauty and virtue, believing that he has finally seen his true love. Although he has just met her, he feels that in his heart he has always known her.
