Yesterday the state Supreme Court decided that schools do not have to release the names of employees investigated for sexual misconduct. The Seattle Times sought those names from 10 area school districts. The newspaper and others in the news media say the school districts can't be trusted to protect kids. They lost the case. What it boils down to is this: Do you believe schools are doing an adequate job of investigating sexual misconduct allegations? Would you like to know more about how they do those investigations? Do you fear releasing the names of the accused would irreparably harm innocent people?

The Supreme Court of Washington State says Swedish Hospital in Seattle can do liver transplants. That ruling yesterday (Thursday) marks the end of a 5 year legal fight with the University of Washington. KUOW's Phyllis Fletcher has more.
