Paul McCartney performs "I Saw Her Standing There" at the 1986 Prince's Trust Rock Gala, as part of the 10-year "birthday" celebration of HRH Prince Charles' charity. McCartney was supported by an "all star" band including Eric Clapton, Phil Collins, Elton John, Mark Knopfler, Ray Knight, and others. At the time, McCartney said "It's just a thrill to play with musicians of this calibre...cause it was a birthday thing, they wanted to do something a bit silly at the end, and that's me!!"

In the summer of 1986, Paul McCartney joined an All Star band including Eric Clapton, Elton John, Phil Collins, Mark Knopfler, and Ray King to celebrate the 10th "birthday" of HRH Prince Charles' charity.
