Instead of 10 minutes to get home, he would take two hours to "tour the town." From being lost two hours, he would sometimes leave the apartment and the police would bring him back home at about 2:00 am. The last 4 years he has been in research for the drug "Aricept," which seemed to help but he would eat so much that he became 20 lbs overweight, he is in moderate dementia, stage 2. He has avoided stage 3, severe dementia. However the research company that promised him lifetime drug supply has gone out of business, so he has no more drugs. Well for the last 2 months without drugs, he has lost about 10 lbs. This video shows his sudden good day when he started to play the piano spontaneously. He makes the same "improvisation" every time but keeps on playing Do, Re, Mi. Pretty good!
