Aber in der letzten Zeit hatte ich einfach unwahrscheinlich viel zu tun. Zum einen habe ich ein Praktikum im Eventmanagementbereich angefangen. Und andererseits arbeite ich noch immer nebenher sehr viel in der Gastronomie. Tja und da bleibt dann oft leider nicht mehr so viel Zeit zwischendrin, um andere Sachen machen zu k nnen. Sorry deswegen! Aller sp testens heute musste ich mich aber unbedingt bei Euch allen melden. Denn wie Ihr wahrscheinlich wisst, findet gerade im Moment die Fu ball Europameisterschaft statt. Und das ist nat rlich ein gro es Ereignis hier in Deutschland. Vor allem seitdem das Sommerm rchen der WM vor zwei Jahren eine so riesige Euphorie in der gesamten Bev lkerung geweckt hat. Am 7. Juni hat die Endrunde der Fu ball-Europameisterschaft der M nner begonnen. Dieses Jahr ist es schon die Dreizehnte. Zum ersten Mal wird die EM in sterreich und in der Schweiz ausgetragen. Wahrscheinlich ist es deshalb f r die Deutschen auch umso spannender, da dies unsere Nachbarl nder sind. Ausrichter der Europameisterschaft ist die UEFA, die so genannte Union of European Football Associations. Insgesamt sind 16 Nationalmannschaften angetreten. Am Anfang steht immer eine Gruppenphase. Das bedeutet, dass jeweils vier Mannschaften zu einer Gruppe zusammengefasst werden. So entstehen insgesamt vier Gruppen, die in Konkurrenz zueinander stehen. Und erst danach tritt man dann im K.-o.- System gegeneinander an. Wer Fu ball- Europameister 2008 wird, wird sich am 29. Juni, also diesen Sonntag, beim Endspiel der Siegermannschaften in Wien entscheiden. brigens: nicht nur deshalb ist der 29.06. ein besonderer Tag, sondern ich habe auch noch das Gl ck naja oder Pech an diesem Tag Geburtstag zu haben. Ich werde n mlich 27 Jahre jung. Damit meine Geburtstagsparty nicht mit dem Endspiel kollidiert, werde ich aber lieber am Samstagabend in meinen Geburtstag reinfeiern. Sonst schaut doch nur jeder Fu ball. Heute Abend, um genau zu sein, in einer halben Stunde, n mlich um 20.45, findet das EM-Halbfinale zwischen Deutschland und der T rkei statt. Man geht davon aus, dass das Ereignis zu einem gigantischen deutsch- t rkischen Volksfest wird. Nat rlich hat man auch ein bisschen Angst, dass es zu Gewaltausschreitungen kommen k nnte. Politiker und Funktion re aus Deutschland und der T rkei haben deshalb noch einmal zu Fairness und Friedfertigkeit aufgerufen. Und auch die Pr sidenten der beiden Fu ballverb nde und die Medien appellierten an die Millionen Fans auf beiden Seiten, das Spiel zu einer gro en multikulturellen Feier werden zu lassen. Hoffen wir mal, denn es w re doch zu schade, wenn Gewalt und Randale dieses tolle Ereignis zerst ren w rden. Tja und jetzt gilt eigentlich nur noch zu hoffen, dass auch das Wetter mitspielt. Das ist in letzter Zeit bei den Spielen immer der gr te Unsicherheitsfaktor gewesen. Bis jetzt muss ich sagen hatten wir eigentlich den gesamten Tag pr chtiges Hochsommerwetter. F r heute Abend allerdings sagten Meteorologen Gewitter voraus. Egal, komme was wolle, wir feiern sowieso, ob im Trockenen oder im Regen und egal wer gewinnt.
