[edit] Plot Gary Sparrow is a TV repairman, and unhappily married to the loud and often mocking Yvonne Sparrow. From an underachieving repairman, Gary soon becomes a charismatic time-traveller. This is after discovering a time portal taking him back to a war-torn London, which leads to an East End pub and an attractive bar maid named Phoebe, along with the dim-witted policeman, Reg Deadman. From then on, Gary Sparrow leads a double life, pacing back and forth across time to please the two women in his life closest to his heart, but furtherest apart. In war-torn London, Gary is a talented singer-song writer and a secret agent called away on urgent war work. He claims he has written songs that are in fact, from the future (such as Beatles songs). Gary is Phoebe's ray of sunshine, bringing her pleasures that the war deprives her of (such as chocolate, stockings, and bananas). Posing as a secret agent, Gary manages to constantly return to his life in the 1990s with wife Yvonne, who thinks Gary is away on business, first as a TV repair man, and later working for Ron Wheatcroft as a printing salesman, when he is in fact in the 1940s. However, Gary finds it an ever increasing strain to keep his wife Yvonne and girlfriend Phoebe happy, constantly flitting between the time zones and getting himself tangled in a web of lies and deceit in the process. Despite Gary being a two-timing time traveller, he loves both Yvonne and Phoebe dearly. The lead character often turns to his best friend Ron Wheatcroft, an unlucky-in-love bachelor, to help solve the predicaments his double life has got him into. It often involves Gary creating "cover stories" to tell Yvonne, and Ron having to both relay these stories and take the blame when Yvonne finds them unacceptable or disappointing. In series three, the street that contains the time portal is closed for construction, but Gary manages to find the portal and use it. The construction was for some new shops. In order to continue to use the portal, Gary purchases the shop that now contains the portal and sets up a World War Two memorabilia shop, "Blitz and Pieces". When in war-torn London, Gary then tells Yvonne he is away collecting stock; stock which is in fact bought in the past and brought into the future. Series four sees Gary becoming a bigamist, as he marries Phoebe who he also has a son with. Yvonne becomes the co-creator of a successful organic beauty products company, and is always less dependent on Gary than Phoebe. Ok, I made this video for two main reasons. One, it's meant as kind of an inside joke for my little sister. Since my sister was old enough to watch anything more than Barney, she and I have spent many a nights curled up on the couch or in our beds immersed in our own little worlds, from piracy to space-faring to wizardry. This vid is about the men from those worlds that we love best. Also, this vid was a way for me to experiment with Sony Vegas. Obviously, I'm not parituclarly involved in the POTC fandom, but I heard this song and it wouldn't leave me alone until I made a video for it. Mostly Willabeth (am I getting the pairing names right?) with some Sparrabeth and whatever you call Elizabeth*Norrington. Should be easy enough to tell which parts are which. "What have i done....." A mother driven mad...and makes a terrible mistake... Another SL slideshow:) This one may be shorter but my gawd!!!
