My classic account is pretty low level because it got reset a few years ago (probably because I was banned but my appeal got accepted, I've heard your classic account gets deleted if this happens, not sure if it's still the case). Since then I haven't really got back into it because very few people played. My account was never really that high level anyway, I kept it in the 50s because I spent most of my time staking, didn't need high levels for it. I would encourage everyone to give classic a try, even if for a few minutes, you'll at least gain the ability to play it after the two weeks are up. It's awesome to see more new players on classic, thanks to the Jagex staff that have been working on bringing it back! ============== ==Classic FAQs== ============== I'll try answer a few questions here that people seem to ask a lot. -Do I need a members account?- Yes you need to be a member to access classic. -It says I need a veteran account- Try a different world. World 1 is reserved for 'veteran' players only (people who already played it). -How do I get classic members/create an account?- You log in with your regular Runescape members account. -How do I earn money?- It is much harder to earn money on classic, I would suggest using your non-combat skills to earn money. Train them and you'll be able to gather resources/make things which you can sell to other players. It's a slow start, but you'll eventually get to a point where you can make decent money. -How does the combat system work?- The classic combat system is different to the one on the main game today. When you are engaged in combat, you have to fight 3 rounds (3 attacks each). While you are in combat you cannot move, eat, drink potions, teleport etc. -I can't log in- You need to be a member and be over the age of 13 to play classic. If both clan chats are filled up for any boss, check back here on the night of the event and I will post additional overflow chats for the full bosses. ========== OTHER INFO ========== Remember you need to be logged into the correct world before you will be added in the clan chats! You should join the clan chat of the boss you want to fight about 1 hour before the event starts to stand the best chance of being added. I will spend the hour before the event hopping through the clan chats adding everyone, if you arrive late and the event has already started you will not be added. The Zamorak General was not included in the event because the turnout for K'ril is usually very low, I'd rather focus the event on the more popular bosses to make them more fun. There may or may not be enough clan chats, It's hard to tell how many people will come but hopefully there is enough space for everyone who wants to come. The event is coinshare because I feel it is more fair for events like this. Not everyone has high 'lsp' and it is unfair for that to affect their chance of getting something from this event. Hopefully most people will walk away with a few mil, depending on your teams luck and how long you can last! I'd recommend getting stocked up on supplies as early as you can, to avoid price manipulation clans making any items we need impossible to buy close to the event. Hope everyone enjoys the event and thanks for subscribing, 100k is completely crazy, that's how many people live in my town :o! It is recommended one of these is a weapon of some sort, the other two can be anything that is within the rules. NOTE: You must be wearing these 3 items, you cannot have any of them in your inventory when you enter the lair. -Potions- You CAN use the following potions (sorry for missing this :P) - Super Set - Extreme Set - Overload - Range Potions (extreme or regular) - Antipoison - Prayer potions (super or regular) - Recover Special -Prayer- You can use any prayers you want, other than 'protect from' prayers mentioned in the video. Piety/eagle eye etc are OK. :) -Require Items- The required items are 100% required, you cannot switch them for alternatives. Doesn't matter if you're ranging/meleeing you have to use the items listed. -Range- You can range, you still have to wear the required items though. Your ammo WILL use up one of your extra items, so a bow + ammo will equal 2. -Ring Of Recoil- You can use a ring of recoil if you wish, but it will count towards one your 3 extra items. Remember you have to be WEARING your 3 extra items, so this only allows you ONE recoil ring, you cannot have spares in your inventory. -Borrowed Items- You can use borrowed items if you want. -Reward- The reward is simply one that will benefit the winner on Youtube by promoting their challenge entry. You can choose between: Having your entry video uploaded to this channel, where all of my subscribers will be able to view it easily - I would assume this method would get you more views overall. Or I could upload a video with an annotation link to your original video (similar to how I did when Woox16 soloed the Corporeal Beast) - This method may result in less overall views, but sends people to your video/channel. As well as higher hits with some of the old weapons using newer str boosting equipment. This video took over 100 hours to make and cost over 130m (mostly spent on the large number of Vesta/Statius sets used and the PvP weapons) and I've been working on it for almost a year (although most of it was re-done after Zerker (i) was released).
